Beyond The Line

This piece revolves around the current mood in which the Artist is experiencing. I have aimed to create a line which resulted in the differing depth within the image. The making of the piece was created in a random nature, in which the lines differ on thickness. This was all down to chance. Emotional state has helped in the making of this, the current moods that have been displayed are anger, despair and happiness.
Charles Gaines has influenced this piece due to the systematic method in which he has placed the acrylic in his ‘Numbers and Trees’ artwork. Another influencer has enabled me to create the emotion in my work was Marcel Duchamp and his many graphite and charcoal sketches.
